DESCRIPTION

By special request from Salle Bourgie, Danse Danse, the National Arts Centre, and Domaine Forget de Charlevoix, Paco Ziel and Diana León invite audiences to rediscover the work of Franz Schubert from a new perspective. Exploring the intimate relationship between dance, music, and poetry, the artists embody a state of creative obsession, presenting a work that expands into space, enriched by the emotional complexity characteristic of Schubert's lieder. Voice, piano, and movement intertwine with absolute freedom.
Designed to be performed in intimate concert halls or churches, this creation offers an immersive listening experience, highlighting the acoustic richness of these short compositions for voice and piano. Two rising stars of Quebec’s classical music scene, pianist Chloé Dumoulin and baritone Olivier Bergeron, join Ziel and León in this transdisciplinary quartet.
